MEREDITH S. MACLEOD

BIO

Meredith obtained her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Kings College, and her law degree from Dalhousie University.  She has practiced law in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia since 2005.

Meredith practices primarily in the areas of real estate law, corporate/commercial law, and estate planning.

 

For several years, she Meredith has also acted as a Learning Group Facilitator the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Bar Admission Course.  She was appointed to the Code of Professional Conduct Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 2019, and also serves on the Cloud Computing Technology sub-group of the Law Office Management Standards Committee.

In recent years, Meredith has volunteered with Greyhound Pets of Atlantic Canada and the Hinchinbrook Farm Society.  She is currently a board member of the VON Lunenburg County Community Corporation.

In 2016, Meredith and her partner adopted a retired racing greyhound named Jaco, and in 2018 they added a second greyhound to the family, named Skywest.  Both hounds are regular visitors at MacLeod Webber.

TABITHA J. WEBBER
PARTNER

BIO
Tabitha is native to the South Shore and returned home after she completed her law degree. She attended Dalhousie University and the University of Victoria to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. In 2007, Tabitha received her Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University. She articled in Bridgewater and was called to the bar in 2008. Tabitha has continued to practice in Bridgewater since that time.

 

Tabitha's practice focuses primarily on family law, real estate law, corporate law and estate planning. She has recently been trained in collaborative family law and interest-based mediation.

 

Tabitha has served in several community groups over the years, both on the South Shore and beyond. She is currently vice president of the Lunenburg County Barristers' Association, executive member-at-large of the Association of Collaborative Family Law Professionals of Nova Scotia, and a facilitator of the Parent Information Program. In the past, Tabitha has served as past-chairperson of the United Way of Lunenburg County and as secretary of the Lunenburg County Barristers’ Association. She is a proud wife and mother and enjoys yoga, reading, baking and scrapbooking.
